Nickel Plate Heritage Unit Visits Delmarva!
The mighty Nickel Plate Heritage unit visits Delmarva on the 44M grain train! We couldn't chase it back on the 578 later in the day because of work, but we got our videos worth! Also, note the friendly conductor! 44M splits the train in half at Wyoming while the remainder heads down the peninsula, eventually with Delmarva Central Railroad power. The Nickel Plate unit and it's trailing unit was tacked onto the loaded coal train at Indian River and headed out. This coal train was seen in Hagerstown, with the Erie heritage unit as a rear DPU!
